Update: Supreme Court of Canada ruling
The Supreme Court of Canada recently ruled that it will not hear the Toronto Police Services Board's appeal. The TPSB had attempted to overturn the Ontario Court of Appeal decision, which ruled that the G20 Class Actions could proceed. The Supreme Court’s ruling means that the G20 Class Actions can continue to move forward. The Supreme Court’s ruling (dismissing the TPSB's attempt to appeal) can be found here.
